Great country pub with good food (burgers a speciality) and nice pint of beer (try the Ferrets).
Lovely old school pub with an unbelievably tiny bar.
Such a super pub. We travel quite some way to get to TBS but boy is it worth. Jackie there is an outstanding host. It's not like we go there every week but when we do we are greeted as though we do, as you will be. The food is varied and of outstanding quality burgers to pheasant? I doubt there's a more comprehensive menu anywhere. There will be something and more. And to cap things off nicely, the toilets are the cleanest this side if Cricklewood Junction. Fantastic. Love this pub. Amazing food and friendly atmosphere
Nice enough pub, quirky layout with a nice big inglenook fireplace in the main room, which as it's a brick room was quite loud as it was full, the other rooms were quieter ( worth noting when booking if you want your meal in a comfortable sound level.) there's no bar to speak of, just a half stable door with a shelf on it. The food was OK, we had the Sunday roast, edible but a bit bland, the Yorkshire puddings looked brought in ( nothing wrong with that. ) but had failed to rise and that's normally the making of a roast dinner, the meats looked pre-sliced, again nothing wrong with freezer to plate, but was hoping for a bit more home roasted, not the worst meal I've had but not the best either, the service was good and attentive.
